HR/Payroll Requirements
The requirements gathering process for ProjectONE began with a series of As-Is workshops held in November and December 2009. During these workshops, ProjectONE core team members met with staff from each of the participating agencies and the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) to document the use and function of existing systems at those agencies.
Using a list of requirements developed by CPA staff with input from the participating agencies as a starting point, the first of 270 requirements gathering workshops began January 4, 2010, and concluded with the final wrap-up sessions on April 1. During the process, more than 5,632 requirements were documented for the eight modules being implemented for PeopleSoft financials and HR/payroll for human capital management (HCM).
