ERP Advisory Council
Per HB 3106 passed by the 80th Texas Legislature, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has established an Enterprise Resource Planning Advisory Council. The Council was composed of representatives from the Department of Information Resources, Health and Human Services Commission, Information Technology Council for Higher Education, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, and two state agencies selected by the Comptroller with fewer than 100 employees. Comptroller Susan Combs served as the chair of the Council.
The Council’s charge was to develop a plan that contained key requirements, constraints and alternative approaches for the Comptroller’s implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning standards, including related core functionality and business process reengineering requirements.
